On April 25, Red is in the Rainbow will be hosting a blood drive at American University. All who are eligible to donate are encouraged to come out! If you are not eligible to donate, you are also strongly encouraged to come out to promote a dialogue about the FDA’s discriminatory practices. We will be handing out stickers for those who are unable to donate that say “I can’t donate blood. Ask me why.”
Our blood drive is being hosted by the American Red Cross. We chose this organization because the ARC supports our cause and has spoken out against the FDA’s gay blood ban.
If you are interested in donating blood, e-mail your name, phone number, and date of birth to firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a donation time. If you are unable to donate blood but would like to help out, e-mail email@example.com with how you would like to volunteer.
We hope to see you there!
